Privacy Policy

Your privacy is our priority. Learn how we protect your data.

Last Updated: January 24, 2026

🔒 GDPR Compliant

TechNix is designed to be GDPR-friendly. Since we process files entirely on your device, we don't collect, store, or process personal data on our servers. You maintain full control over your files at all times.

Data Collection

TechNix is built with privacy at its core. Most of our tools process files entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript libraries.

We do NOT store, upload, or transmit your files to our servers for processing. Your documents, images, and spreadsheets remain on your device.

We may collect anonymous analytics data (page views, tool usage counts) to improve our services. This data cannot identify individual users.

Client-Side Processing

PDF manipulation, image processing, and document conversion happen directly in your browser.

Files are processed in memory and automatically discarded when you close the tab or navigate away.

This approach ensures maximum privacy and eliminates server costs, making TechNix sustainable and free.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use minimal cookies for essential functionality (CSRF protection, session management).

No third-party tracking cookies are used. We respect your privacy and Do Not Track preferences.

You can clear browser cache/cookies at any time to remove all TechNix data.

Data Security

All connections to TechNix use HTTPS encryption to protect data in transit.

We implement industry-standard security headers (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options).

Regular security audits ensure our codebase remains free from vulnerabilities.

In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours.

Third-Party Services

TechNix may use third-party services for error monitoring (Sentry) and analytics. These services are configured to minimize data collection and respect user privacy.

Your Rights

  • Right to access: You can request information about data we collect.
  • Right to deletion: You can request deletion of your data (if any is stored).
  • Right to opt-out: You can disable analytics by using a Do Not Track browser setting.
  • Right to portability: You can export any data associated with your account.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated via a banner on the homepage.
